Redlines- Ukihime

Well I always TRY to do interesting poses, they just don't look very good with my bad anatomy/perspective. One day my skill level will match my imagination lol.

I like that you said the flowy hair everywhere would give it emotion, even though that's what I tried to do and totally failed, at least you think my idea was ok. That the hair was wrong, I totally knew especially the guy but when I drew it going upwards it was so ugly and eventually I just gave up lol. But yours looks really good, but I dunno how you did it but maybe I can use it as a basis for redrawing, is that ok? Its pretty much the hair I had in my mind when I chose the pose only maybe a bit thinner and longer but yeah.

 What I don't get is how you make them look at each other. What was your process for making sure they were? Just better judgement than me from more experience or is there like a test you can do? Not sure if I CAN fix that but I will definitely keep trying because this is the number one reason I suck at couple shots. But of course you totally don't have to justify correcting that I was obviously trying to get them to face each other and it was one of the most obvious wrong things I really tried fiddling with them lots.

Well thanks for this. It was really great. Man I can't believe how much you fixed, all these things I kept trying to fiddle with but wouldn't look right and yours looks exactly how I wanted it to look, well you know minus the colour and finishing of course. I originally wasn't going to redo this even if I liked the changes but I want to hurry up and get good so my drawings look right like yours so I might redo it all and post it with your comments in mind. Hope you don't feel offended if I like some of my mistake though. I am not sure about the toes. I mean they aren't realistic but I kinda liked Orihime's weird toe. I dunno it looked cartoony and drew your eye to that part of the drawing, but I wont get better if I stubbornly stick to my own way so I will see what awesome compromise I can come up with to make it even better than either of them.

Btw you weren't too harsh at all! This was definitely the kind of comprehensive dissection of all my mistakes I really wanted, I was incredibly pleased with your feedback. I mean its nice when people think your drawings are nice but if noone does what you did then how can I get any better!!! Thank you so much for your help
